Conference registration

Invitations to register for the 2019 conference are facilitated through your volunteer association.

If you receive an invitation from your association please officially register your attendance through this website. You will need an email address to complete this online process.  

Registering early helps to ensure your accommodation needs can be met. Unfortunately we can’t guarantee you will be in the same hotel as your fellow volunteer service delegates if you register late.   

Registrations open are open until Monday 22 July for regional delegates and Monday 26 August for Perth metro delegates.

If you need assistance with your online registration please contact your association directly.

If you haven’t been to the conference before and didn’t receive an invitation from your association, you can apply to attend directly through DFES. These strictly limited places aren’t guaranteed but we will endeavour to help with your request. To register your interest, please email your details including name, BGU and role by clicking here.

What you need to know before you register 

Registering for sessions: Bookings for facility tours, the Welcome Sundowner and the Fire and Emergency Services (FES) Awards Ceremony can be made when completing your registration for the conference. See the Program [link] and Awards Night pages for more information.

Travel and Accommodation: Regional volunteers can make travel and accommodation bookings when registering for the conference through this website. Please familiarise yourself with the travel policy on the travel and accommodation page before registering.

Dietary requirements: During the conference you will be provided with morning tea, lunch and afternoon tea. When you register you will be prompted to provide details of any specific dietary requirements. 

Disability access requirements: If you require assistance or have special needs we are happy to assist you. Please provide details when you register.

Changing your registration
If you need to make changes to your registration including your travel and/or accommodation booking, please contact Event Travel Management on (08) 9389 6232 or email eventsperth@eventsctm.com. Change fees for travel and accommodation may apply.

In keeping with the theme of the conference Facing the future together we’d prefer you not to wear your uniform.
