Join this guided tour of WAPOL Water Police and VMRS Radio Operations.  Departs and returns to the Perth Convention and Exhibition Centre. Places limited. Now open to all delegates.

The Reds and the Blues Tour

Join this guided tour of the Perth Fire Station, WAPOL Major Incident Control Centre (MICC), WAPOL Mounted and Canine Sections. Departs and returns to the Perth Convention and Exhibition Centre. Places limited.


6.00pm – 8.00pm

Welcome Sundowner

All conference delegates are invited to attend a welcome sundowner in the River View Rooms at the Perth Convention and Exhibition Centre. Light refreshments will be served. Maximum places 300.

WAFES Conference Saturday

The exhibition hall and information desk open from 7am, with the official conference opening and keynote speaker Mark Crosweller AFSM from 8am in the Pavilion Theatre. Throughout the day delegates can enjoy service specific sessions, live practical demonstrations and network with fellow volunteers.


5.30pm – 7.00pm

Volunteer Marine Rescue Services Awards

This cocktail ceremony will be held in River View Room 5 at the Perth Convention and Exhibition Centre. Bookings essential. Maximum places 100.


7.00pm – 10.00pm

State Emergency Service Awards

This evening ceremony will be held in the Ballroom at the Perth Convention and Exhibition Centre. Bookings essential. Maximum places 250.


 

Sunday 10 September, 2017

7.30am – 9.30am

Firefighting Awards

This breakfast ceremony will be held in the River View Rooms at the Perth Convention and Exhibition Centre. This ceremony is for all firefighters, including career and Volunteer Fire and Rescue Service, Bush Fire Service and Volunteer Fire and Emergency Services. Bookings essential. Maximum places 250.


7.30am – 2.00pm

WAFES Conference Sunday

The exhibition hall and information desk open from 7.30am on Sunday.  Sessions throughout the morning will cover a range of topics. The Pavilion Theatre will feature Robyn Moore before lunch.
