The venue for this year's conference is the Perth Convention and Exhibition Centre (PCEC), located at 21 Mounts Bay Road, Perth, WA. The conference will be held in various rooms on Level 1 and Level 2. The location provides delegates quick and easy access to and from the venue by foot, car, bus, train, ferry and taxi. Walking – Walking access to Level 1 at PCEC is via Mill Street or Mounts Bay Road. Use the lifts or elevator to access Level 2. Level 2 can also be directly accessed via the Esplanade Busport overpass.
Hotel bus transfers – Bus transfers will be organised between the Hyatt, Pan Pacific, Mecure Perth and PCEC throughout the weekend.
Driving – Access to the City of Perth Convention Centre Car Park is via Mill Street, Mounts Bay Road and the Riverside Drive off ramp of the Mitchell Freeway. Access to the Level 1 Plaza is from Mill Street or Mounts Bay Road.
Taxi – PCEC is a designated Cab Spot location (number 1088). A taxi phone is located at the Plaza Entry doors on Level 1.
Bus – Esplanade Busport is located adjacent to PCEC. Many bus services depart and arrive here including the free CBD ‘Blue CAT’ service. Most buses that travel past the hotels along St Georges Terrace are within the free travel zone and arrive at the Esplanade Busport.
Train – Elizabeth Quay Station is located at the doorstep of the PCEC and services the Mandurah and Joondalup lines. Other Transperth train stations within close proximity of the centre include:
Perth Underground Station (Mandurah and Joondalup lines) located on the corner of William Street and Murray Street Mall.
Perth Station (Armadale-Thornlie, Fremantle and Midland lines) is located on Wellington Street across the road from Forrest Place.
An underground walkway connects Perth Station with the Perth Underground Station.
Ferry – A Transperth ferry service operates across the Swan River between Elizabeth Quay, Perth and Mends Street Jetty, South Perth. Elizabeth Quay Jetty is only a short walk to the PCEC. Services operate daily from 7:30am to 9:15pm.
There are approximately 5,000 car parking bays within a 10 minute walk of PCEC.
The City of Perth Convention Centre Car Park is also located directly under the centre. It holds over 1,500 parking bays and operates 24 hours, 7 days a week. This car park is accessible via Mill Street, Mounts Bay Road and the Riverside Drive off ramp of the Mitchell Freeway.
Payment for parking can be made by cash or credit card. Direct access to the venue from the City of Perth Convention Centre Car Park is through the central foyer lift and two staircases. Access to the City of Perth Convention Centre Car Park is restricted to vehicles of 2.1m maximum height.
